Pepsi is the most popular beverage

When Vice President Richard Nixon visited Russia in 1959, he took part in the Kitchen Debate, a televised debate with Soviet First Secretary Nikita Khrushchev. The two presidents addressed their respective countries and potential avenues for future collaboration. It wasn’t all serious politics. One scene had everyone in the audience smiling: Nixon and Khrushchev sharing a Pepsi. Soft drinks were entirely unknown in Russia, but that is no longer the case. Russia accounts for about 8% of total Pepsi sales worldwide.
