Women, Women, Women, Everywhere

Over the last century, far more women than men have lived in Russia. According to a 2018 national study, there are 10.5 million more women in Russia than men. Women account for 54% of the population, while males account for 46%. So, what caused this? Although roughly the same number of boys and girls are born each year, females live significantly longer. Men begin to die after the age of 30 for a variety of reasons, including war, car accidents, industrial trauma, and others. As a result, there are more older women than men.
