Use a Blowdryer to Wear in New Shoes

The days of enduring excruciating discomfort when breaking in a new pair of shoes are over. Instead, you should wear them around the house until they’re comfortable. Just slip on some thin socks, and then blow dry the new shoes for a few minutes before putting them on. When you’re done, take your time cooling the shoes down and you’ll have custom-fit footwear. That’s a whole lot better than having to hobble around all day in discomfort.
Razor-cut your rumpled clothing

If you want to refresh your pilled clothing, you can always go out and get a fabric razor, but they can be pricey and you probably already have something at home that would do the job just as well. Shaving your legs with a disposable razor is just as effective as using a high-end cloth razor. To remove pilling from fabric, simply pull it taut and shave the offending areas.
