A dog’s 20-minute friendship feels like 20 years to its owner
Traveling for lengthy periods in a car can be exhausting for anyone, but especially for small children. Johnny had travelled quite a distance to go to the shelter, so he couldn’t wait to get back home with his new pet, Leela. Leela was overjoyed to have finally found a place to call home, and she was bursting with activity. After 20 minutes of driving, Johnny’s mother turned around and saw his friends sleeping on each other as if they had known each other for decades. It would appear that the enthusiasm was too much to bear.
Asking, “Is She Allowed to Pet Your Dog?”
Rudy and his owners went out to dinner at a local establishment one night. A family with a young child, who was clearly delighted to see Rub, strolled by. Someone enquired, “Can she pet your dog?” They all said, “Of course!” as the little girl shuffled over to rub Ruby’s belly. When she leaned in for a kiss with Ruby, everyone was taken aback.
