The WNBA’s Female Players On the Court and Off

Sabally Satou

Satou Sabally’s choice to leave college a year early in order to play in the WNBA is already paying off. She was the second overall choice in the 2020 WNBA Draft and made her first WNBA All-Star appearance the following year.

Sabally’s basketball abilities are only surpassed by her advocacy and humanitarian initiatives. Since her rookie season, she has served as a member of the WNBA Social Justice Council and as a UNICEF Supporter.
